Here for your consideration is one of my kids' favorite vintage Playmobil sets (and no, I'm not selling their set. They want to keep it for any future children they may have! LOL!). This is the rousing Playmobil #3727 Lions/Lion Tamer and Trailer play set. Manufactured between 1992-95, this set has been retired for a number of years. It is still highly coveted, however, by children and adults alike.

This play set was designed to accompany Playmobil's renowned #3720 Circus Romani set. One end of the circus trailer prominently features the name Circus Romani written in bold script and a bright red door and steps on the other end. The blue roof embellished with gold stars may be removed to facilitate play inside the trailer.

The trailer itself is divided into two separate compartments via floor to ceiling bars. Thus, the circus worker or lion tamer may check on their charges without fear of being attacked. One side of the trailer comes equipped with two, sliding yellow cage doors. A red ramp may be attached to an exit so the lions can easily depart the trailer. Underneath each side of the trailer, there are two red storage compartments to house some of the equipment for the act etc.

To keep the lions "under control," there is a white chute leading to the high fenced center ring. The chute has a barrier that may be raised or lowered to allow the lions to enter the center ring. The center ring also has a locking door that the lion tamer may use to make a hasty retreat if necessary. Besides the three lions, the lion tamer, and the circus worker, the set contains movable platforms, a ring of "fire," a stick to keep the lions "at bay," and some "housekeeping essentials" for the lions' care. Last, but not least, the trailer may be hitched to the Playmobil #3734 Circus Tractor (sold separately) for easy portability.

This is an engaging set and one that any child or collector would be proud to own. Due to the presence of small parts, it's recommended that only children 4 years and up be allowed to play with this set.

This set weighs approximately 2 lbs. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905). Due to its weight, I will probably be shipping this in a small-medium sized box via the USPS using Priority Mail.

This set comes equipped with multiple lions, equipment, and circus assistants, including a fearless lion tamer.

Possessing moveable joints, the lions may be placed in a number of realistic positions.

Three platforms allow the lions to stand at attention.

With the lions safely back within their cage, the circus worker and lion tamer can take a break.

Set comes complete with original assembly instructions.

The price listed is for the item itself. The total amount due will be the purchase price of the item + the ACTUAL shipping cost to deliver your item to you. All shipping costs or extra fees (in the case of Canadian shipments) are the responsibility of the buyer. I will do everything in my power to find you the cheapest shipping rate—-whether it’s the USPS (First Class, Parcel, or Priority), Fed Ex, or UPS. I DO NOT PAD MY SHIPPING COSTS—-NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL! I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.
 

I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.

Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.
