More details about this itemPlease read entire description for important info about condition. This is a vintage Eames Era tall tapered turquoise dimpled vase made in the USA by Royal Haeger Pottery. It is marked R 1573 S. This beautiful midcentury modern vase, made in the 1950s, is done in turquoise with an area of blended glaze at the top in what looks to be a blue shade. This wonderful piece stands 10.75” high and is 5.5” at its widest point. The base measures 3.5” in diameter. The vase is in overall good condition. There are no chips. There is a tight hairline crack near the base. I filled the vase to capacity with water and let it sit for 24 hours and there was no moisture on the outside of the vase. However, upon second inspection of this area, I see what looks like a residue of some kind. I believe that someone has sealed the crack with something. It is hard to see and I am glad that I gave it a second look after the water test. Because of this possible repair, I am pricing this vase below market value. There is mild crazing to the glaze which I see with magnification. The glaze remains glossy and bright. Shipping weight will be 3 lbs. Thank you for looking. Item location: B 56
