Hi there and welcome to my store!
My name is Ben and welcome to my online store. I am dedicated to searching out unique, unusual and rare books, manuscripts and one of a kind ephemera items for presentation and consideration of the book and paper buying public online. I hope you will find my collection all of that and more.
Below you will find the most up-to-date terms and conditions. Please read them prior to purchase or bidding if on auction so that we are all 'on the same page' with regard to the buying and selling terms. As much as we all like a handshake-on-a-deal kind of relationship, nobody likes surprises so my terms and conditions are spelled out - and please do not hesitate to write for any reason at all.
THANK YOU in advance for your consideration of my store!

The Smaller Print
All items will appropriately wrapped, (usually in a bubblewrap or padded envelope) within 24 hours of a cleared payment.
Postage is based on Canada Post rates which are based on weight/size/distance. While small ephemera items ship at basic airmail letter rate of $1.50 - $6.50 depending on size and shape of documents items valued over $100 they will require insurance and rates are about $1.25 per $100. To register mail is $12.45 above postage. Expedited insured parcels begin at about $10.50. These are approximate costs which will be determined after the sale.
There is a flat $2 for ephemera and books, $3.00 for items requiring postal tube packaging.
Please note: I mail within 6-24 hours of payment - it is the Post Ofice that takes 4 to 18 business days shipping to USA. Europe/overseas is 21 to 65 days. Holidays make this worse.
I strive to give 100% satisfaction, so if there is something wrong with your purchase you need only get in touch by email and find a customer service oriented seller. I am a member of the Manuscript Society and the IOBA [International Online Booksleers Association] whose ethical policies and guidelines I follow. Every effort is made to accurately describe all merchandise. I stay informed about the items I sell. Nobody wants or likes the frustrations caused by "hidden" flaws and do not wish to cause anyone dissatisfaction. That said, most of my books come from private libraries, auction houses and the odd time from public libraries. As such you can expect that they may have tags, inscriptions, writings, or other indicators of past ownership or price.
My #1 policy: Honesty is the only policy.
My #1 rule: Do unto others, as one wants done unto themselves.
I take payment through Paypal. Some listing sites insist on Paypal as the only method of payment - you are welcome to ask me about payment alternatives.
Thank you for looking and please take a moment to look at my other items online.
Making multiple purchases?
I always combine items to reduce the overall shipping costs. Please email any and all questions prior to bidding. Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction. Do not send cash!!! Buyer agrees to pay all shipping and insurance.
If you have questions, please write me, prior to bidding.
