Besheer art tiles are made in Bedford, New Hampshire by Kenneth and Jacqueline Besheer.

On the back of the tile it states:

"Each tile is individually and completely handpainted using vibrant enamel glazes, then kiln fired to 2000 degrees. At this temperature the glass enamels fuse to the surface of the clay. The rich, vivid colors produced are permanent and will never wash or fade away."

"In addition to making an attractive and charming wall decor, these Art Tiles serve as excellent heat-resistant trivets or hotplates. Currently featured in many fine shops and galleries, and sought by collectors and decorators alike, a Gift of Besheer Art Tile will offer lasting enjoyment for years to come."

The tile is a 6" x 6" square mounted on a smaller platform with cork "feet" to protect surfaces and has a metal hanger.
