This vintage Ebeling & Reuss Crystal Knife Rest has the original Golden Crown black sticker and is in excellent condition. The Label reads," Golden Crown,E&R,Western Germany,Genuine lead crystal.

In the early days when paper napkins were unheard of people used knife rest to keep from soiling their table cloths,at first they were made from all sorts of materials from wood to metal but eventually these lovely crystal ones were made. This one is very ornate and with star burst designs around each end. It is 4 inches long.

If you collect these crystal knife rests I know you would be very pleased to have this one in your collection!
