Just too cool! The shape is so different, it is really an oval that has been flattened so that it has two seams(edges) and it is more narrow than a normal oval. It is  clear glass on one side and I have painted it in a magenta, teal & yellow color scheme.  The design reminds me of an abstract plaid which has some areas which allow the light to shine through and create a prismatic effect. The design is also reminiscent of a reptile pattern.

This vase could be used for flowers,votive candles,sand, marbles or ?? just use your imagination.
