As many of you know, I specialize in finding old American sports reporting pictures and stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Here is a unique story entitled GRIDIRON SHAKE-UPS THAT ENLIVEN THE FALL which appeared as the feature story in the sport section as taken from an old American magazine published in 1932. Seems that the old was out, the new was in and the Grand Old Man of the Midway, Chicago's oly athletic director and head gridiron teacher having reached three score and ten years had to step aside. Not only Stagg but others that old father time had crept up upon.
