1932 Tark Corded Electric Safety Razor
1932 Tark corded electric safety razor. This item has been cleaned but not sanitized. It opens
and closes smoothly, snaps shut as it should. The best thing about this razor is that it works.
This is a one of a kind safety razor and there aren't many left for sale. So add it to your
collection or use it as a daily razor.
Like the Vibro-Shave Electric Razor, the Tark razor was invented by Saul Shaler (application
filed 1932, patent granted 1935). Also like the Vibro-Shave the Tark razor was produced in Long
Island City (NY USA). The Tark Electric Razor Co. has been selling razors from 1932 until about
1940, when Tark's sales corporation was dissolved (Tark's production corporation seems to have
been dissolved already in 1938). There have been several versions of Tark's single edge electric
