The Montgomery Wards farm tractor was built by the Custom Manufacturing Company, producers of tractors during the post war era for a number of different companies. The Montgomery Wards tractor was powered by either a 6 - cylinder Chrysler engine, as on the tractor pictured, or a  4 - cylinder Hercules engine, which powered the twin row model.
