This is a cute little 5" figurine entitled Denim Days and numbered 1503. It was made by HOMCO in 1985. It is in excellent gently used condition. It depicts a little boy with his dog in the dog house. He is holding a hammer but the head is broken off (I just noticed that). He is otherwise in excellent condition.
