This lot includes 2 silver-plated Peridot Green Swarovski Crystal go-go dangle components that measures 35x32mm.

Daniel Swarovski was born in October of 1862 to a glass cutter who owned a small glass factory. Apprenticed under his father, Daniel became skilled in the art of glass-cutting. In 1892 he patented an electric cutting machine that facilitated the production of crystal glass.Swarovski crystals can be clear, opaque, reflective or opalescent. Some of these crystals refract light in a rainbow spectrum; these crystals have been coated with one of many special metallic chemical coatings. Aurora Borealis, or "AB”, is one of the most popular coatings and gives the surface a rainbow oil slick appearance. Other coatings include Crystal Transmission, Volcano, Aurum and Dorado. Some of the crystals receive the coating on just one side, giving them a half-reflective and half-true-to-color appearance. When the crystals receive a coating on both sides, or "2X”, the effect is primarily a rainbow-reflection from all angles and just an illusion of the color that lurks beneath.
