This is an unusual design for this old teacup and saucer - the designer seems to have tried to put a modern, futuristic twist to its traditional design. Entirely hand painted with speckled gold, the teacup, designed with a white porcelain background is adorned in large rose buds. The teacup also sits on a golden pedestal foot The saucer mirrors the design of the teacup. For added dash, there is a golden keyhole handle that floats gently into the base of the teacup - it perfectly complements the overall design. This special piece is nicely detailed and is ... simply charming!
COLORS: The set is on fine bone white bone china. The accent colors are red and black with gold detailing.
SIZE: This teacup has a mouth has a diameter of about 4 a   x 2 5/8 " height. The saucer is about 5 3/4 " in diameter.
CONDITION: Excellent Antique Vintage Condition. No loss of detail, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs - detailing is very bright. Some rubbing of the rose motif present in the base of the saucer, but not distacting from the overal beauty of the piece. Set needs some restorative cleaning.
