"Grandes Armoiries French Court of Arms Tapestry Wall Hanging"


Designed by Pierre Josse Perrot. Different versions were woven at the Gobelins at the beginning of the XVIIIth century. Original pieces are at the Lourvre and at the Versailles castle. The arms are those of the French Kingdom (three gold fleurs de lys on azure blue). 50% wool and 40% cotton. Spot clean. Woven in France. Measures 58" long x 44" wide.
