The Gay Nineties is an American nostalgic term that refers to the decade 1890s. The term Gay Nineties itself began to be used in the 1920s in the USA. By the 1920s, the decade was nostalgically seen as a period of pre-income tax wealth for a newly emergent "society set".  It is known in the United Kingdom as the Naughty Nineties.

This is a set of 8 lemonade or mint julep glasses. 4 are the "Gas Buggy" and 4 are the "Bicycle for Two". They are approx. 6 1/2" tall and are the 16 oz size. These were produced by Anchor Hocking in the 50s. All are in immaculate shape and appear to have never been used. The white paint is still bright and intact. Enjoy!!
