A Unique piece of Art rendered on a Ancient SLATE ROOF TILE

The original roof of the Sainte Marie Catholic Church was, until this last Spring, roofed in the dark grey slate tiles I have used to draw upon here. My husband knowing my penchant for seeing unusual applications for most items, brought me home a dozen or so tiles which I was immediately inspired by. The origin of the tiles and the possibilities.... I was mentally creating the moment I touched one. Finally, I did sit down with one of the tiles and a hour or so of free time but I COULD NOT find a Charcoal Pencil, which was what I desperately had to have to render the drawing in my head EXACTLY as I had done it! (in my head, that is). Frustrated the first things I found were some colored pencils and wore a bunch of them out just to see what I could do with some color on that dark grey and here you see the result, I call her a Water Nymph. I have been considering placements for her and this piece would be a perfect addition to a patio or porch privacy wall, or ideally a jacuzzi, spa, water garden, pond or pool area.
