More about this item

Sara Jewelry Design. This convertible length necklace is the Face of Africa centerpiece in my Kenyan Collection. It was conceived and created during an art in the park event in Seattle.  Eight vintage pre-ban ivory beads are alternated with carved bone beads, three copper wrapped wooden tube beads and two black horn tube beads on sterling silver.  I formed each headpin to terminate in a coil.  Depending from the central wooden tube bead is a beautifully carved wood focal of a stylilzed face shaped like the African continent.

Strung on heavy 2mm black cotton cordage, this necklace can easily be untied and retied to suit your length needs and can be worn by either gender.  The design width is just a skosh over four inches.

Ships insured. Shipping on this piece to US or Canada is my treat.  For other destinations, please contact me first for a shipping quote
