Alphonse Mucha Repro Print: 1899 Advertising Poster for Moet & Chandon Champagne





 

I'm one of those "I don't know much about art, but I know what I like" people.  I really like this.  I'll tell you what I think it is....what I have been able to learn so far:  This is a 1990 book print of an advertisement by Alphonse Maria Mucha, advertising Moet & Chandon Champagne.  The original was made in 1899. This one measures 4 3/4" x 14" on medium weight paper.

 

This wonderful print was published in a 1990 retrospective collection of Art Nouveau Advertising Art.  It has all the bells and whistles of Art Nouveau and would look wonderful framed and hanging on your wall.
