A molded composition tub with a burl type dark red finish. similar to old fire buckets.

Made by the Indurated Fiber Company of Portland Maine between  1883 and 1885.

Patents and company logo on tub's bottom.

Tub holds 5 gallons, has swing bale brass handles, and 6x4 cut outs in front for ones legs.

Tub weighs 9.5 pounds; measures: 20W x 11 H

Shipping weight and size: 17 pounds in a 24 x 24 x 16 box.

original patina, no leaks. Wear is commensurate with age or better.
