Antique Cut Crystal Inkwell Lidded Painted Floral Hexagonal Ink Pot Etched Brass

• circa late 1800's to early 1900's 
• clear cut crystal glass inkwell with non-removeable lid that flips up
• top and sides of this hexagonal piece are faceted
• 3 sides of the body & 3 sides of the top are hand painted with delicate  blue, white, pink, and green daisies and sweet peas with green folliage
• top is secured with a non-removable etched brass collar
• there is a internal non-removable glass ink pot
• it has no maker's mark or country of origin
• I have a second similar inkwell also listed

Size: 3 1/4" tall with 8" circumference

Condition: This is in very good condition for age and doesn't appear to have ever been used. There is a some paint loss to the floral designs but nothing ugly. The glass has a few fleabites with one on the top point and a few edges, but there are no cracks. The brass has patina but no erosion. The lid is securely attached with no evidence of repairs, but it does not close competely.  There is a bit of waffling to the internal crystal chamber, but this looks inherent to manufacturing.
