Antique Gloria needle safe barrel shaped Made in Germany

Antique wood needle case in the shape of a barrel has a screw top lid with a hole, and around the circumference of the upper part of the barrel are numbers representing needle sizes. The top turns to sizes 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and has corresponding holes under the screwed on lid so that when you turn it to a certain number and shake it, only that size needle will come out of the hole. If you want no needles to come out, turn it to "shut". On the front it says Gloria Trademark Needle Case Trade Mark Registered Art. 25000, and on the back Turn the stroke on the required number and shake out the needle Made in Germany. It’s a very sweet and cleverly designed addition to your sewing collection.

It measures 3" high and 1-1/4" across at its widest point, and is in very good condition except that a piece of wood is missing on the lid. It doesn't affect its ability to function at all but is mentioned for accuracy.
