The simple shape bowl with gilt at the rim and with an underglaze cobalt blue V and dot pattern over a finely painted brocade section interior with two large panels painted with green and brown rocks? and red maple leaves. With gilt and a prunes branch in gilt over two shocks of grain with a gourd with ribbons. With a three pattern divided design between with a green and yellow enamel geometric pattern. An iron red enamel and gilt flower panel. and a more elaborate green enamel and gilt geometric panel. The center with a border of iron red wave pattern surrounding a large crane in gilt and red with a green enamel pine branch. The exterior painted with a matching underglaze blue border over a a three panel repeated scene of a phoenix in iron red, gilt and yellow with green enamel cloud shapes and with triangular iron red and gilt flower and leaf panels between. Three cobalt lines on the short straight foot and a cobalt line on the inside of the foot rim. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Some expected wear to the gilt on the rim. Some gilt and glaze wear on the iron red circle design enclosing the crane. The usual and expected slight potting and glazing flaws. Much nicer looking than appears in my photographs.
