Large tin, 1880's, hand painted Toleware and stenciled tray. Black background with Victorian era couple in a winter scene driving a single horse drawn sleigh with distant farm house. Gold decor around edge and cut out handles. Tray is crazed with minimal wear and no chips or scratches.

Colors: gold, black, red, green,orange.

Signed on back: Decorated by Merrows, Montpelier, VT.

Weight: 2 pounds 2 ounces.

Dimensions: 19L x 15H x 1 W or deep.
