GORGEOUS Patina has been stained and then finished with our special bees wax to achieve a wonderful AGED look.   (and therefore NOT suitable for rolling dough in)

Measures ALMOST TWO FEET LONG (23 7/8").   OVER a FOOT WIDE at 12 1/8" and it stands  2 1/2" to 3" tall (depending on where you measure).    BEAUTIFUL GNARLY Wood!   Leather strapping to one end to replicate the way they used to cover lip cracks on these bowls.   

I prefer to take pictures of our trenchers on SUNNY days so that you can really form an appreciation for the beautiful wood variations on them.      

Nice piece has been carved out of ONE SOLID Piece of wood.      It is smooth to the touch.  There will be wood splits and imperfections as these are distressed to LOOK old.  In the case of splits, we simply oil them in so that they blend in with the surrounding patina.  These have become Extremely popular in the Interior Design Market as WONDERFUL centerpieces OR catch-alls. Could hold fruit in the kitchen.....any number of uses in any number of Custom Decors.  Although because it has been distressed and stained it wouldn't be functional for actually rolling dough in.
