  Thank you for visiting us today to see our beautiful large Bali Blue Covered Box designed by Vera Bradley and brought to us by the Sadek company. This round-shaped box, which can be used as an organizer for trinkets or jewelry, is made of porcelain china, covered in Vera's trademark Bali Blue pattern.

The colors used on the box are various shades of blue: sky, medium, wedgewood (which in some places appears as teal blue), cream, mocha brown, milk chocolate, white, a bit of celery and a lime green for contrast, and either black or very deep navy. 

  This pattern is tricky to describe, but we'll give it a go! On the lid, starting in the center, is a Zinnia-like flower colored in sky blue, chocolate, cream and white. Surrounding this central flower is a five-point-petal flower bordered in milk chocolate with cream dots, which captures a beaded, arched vignette within each petal, depicting a white Daisy and a black flower, both with lime dot-centers, five black leaves, and a partial curlique on wedgewood/teal background- as if sprouting from the center Zinnia. The artist is portraying a bouquet of flowers within the 5 1/4" medallion-like flower. Five more 3/8" green, blue and black flowers, plus countless mini flowers on a medium blue background fill the space between the lid's giant flower and it's rim. Interestingly, the beading, which frames this large flower, and the dots on the Zinnia's blue petals quite reminds us of a fine pastry artist's work.

  All around the sides of this box are nine more large mod flowers, as interesting as snowflakes, also some smaller ones, and more mini flowers sprinkled between all of them.

  There's a surprise inside! You'll find a delightful chocolate, mocha and sea green flower, off center, in the bottom of the box when you lift the lid.

  Decorate With a Grouping of Bali Blue: We also have a 4" Bali Blue box that has a slightly different design on its' lid, which would make a wonderful companion piece, either right beside our large box or on a different table in the same room.
