BANANA REPUBLIC BLACK LEATHER BOMBER JACKET WITH A RETRO LATE 70s early 80s STYLE :: UNISEX TYPE LOOK WITH BANDED BOTTOM :: SIZE IS XS

HISTORY/CONDITION: Purchased this in the early 2000s and wore it one time. Other than some slight pilling to the interior of the stretchy band, and some minor scuffing to the leather (see pics please) this is basically the way it looked when I purchased it.  It is not even broken in!  Once this breaks in, it will be really comfy and amazing.

This looks like a men's jacket... and it may even BE a men's jacket -- it can really be worn by anyone, as the style is totally gender neutral, utterly androgynous...

There are 2 side pockets on the outside, and 2 on the interior - -1 in the usual place, and than another which is cut on an angle.  If you are left handed and need a concealed carry type jacket (which was my reason for wanting this), you may enjoy this slanted pocket on the interior.  Great stitching details as well, both front and back.

Great Banana Republic quality leather - wear this a few times and break it in for manimum buttery softness.

MEASUREMENTS ETC: All are taken with garment zippered CLOSED and un-stretched.

LENGTH: FRONT measured from lowest point in notched collar is 19 inches.  From collar seam to hemline in BACK is 21.5 inches

BUST (UNDERARM TO UNDERARM): 18 inches across

WAIST: 16 inches across at waist (near pocket region)

HIP/HEMLINE: N/A but the waistband measures 14.5 across (this does have lots of stretch to it)

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: seam to seam is about 16.5 inches.

SLEEVES: collar to end of sleeve is 28 inches.  shoulder seam to end of sleeve is  22 inches. Underarm seam to end of sleeve is  15 inches.

ARMHOLE is 5 inches across

DETAILS: See above.  Again, this was purchased new by me circa early 2000s and worn once.  Other than some minor scuffing to leather and some minor pilling to the interior of the elastic waist band, this is basically as new.  The fabric of the waist area WILL PILL as you wear it, so no biggie there.

TAG information:  XS. Leather with acetate type lining and synthetic vegetable (?) type waist band area.
