Belleek Fruits Of The Forest Tea For One Teapot & Cup Set

Lovely porcelain Tea For One set made by Belleek Pottery in Northern Ireland. All three pieces have been artist signed.

Pattern 
Fruits Of The Forest depicts a single purple berry and leaf motif on each side of both teapot and cup. The finial of the teapot lid is thoughtfully matched as it too is a purple berry. Basketweave design on the body adds a casual yet elegant touch. When not in use, the tea pot is designed to nest inside the cup rim for display or for storage.

Age
Underside of cup bears the Eleventh Belleek Mark, which was in use between 2001 and 2006.

Size
Cup measures 1 7/8 inches high by 4 1/16 inches deep across the middle by 4 7/8 inches wide from the outside of the handle to the opposite outside of cup.

Teapot measures 4 1/4 inches high with the lid on. The body is 4 /14 inches deep across the middle. From outside of handle to tip of spout, it measures 6 1/4 inches deep.

Condition
This is a preowned estate item in excellent condition.
It was a display piece and was obviously never used to serve or consume any beverages. It is quite clean and free from any chips, cracks, stains, repairs or crazing. The only indication of previous ownership you will see is a tiny amount of wear on the base of the cup caused by supporting the weight of the cup and the teapot and lid while on display.
