This is a Greensburg / L.E.Smith Glass Company vase #432/5. It was made during the Depression Era, late 1920s to early 1930s. It is Black Glass, but when held up to the light, you can see a violet so it is also called Black Amethyst Glass.

This loving cup vase is the large size. Also the center design is different from the smaller vase which has 2 dancers in the center. This vase has 1 nude (or lightly veiled) woman and " Pan " playing a flute. This is often called the "Snake Dance" design because the woman is twirling ribbons or snakes. The vase has 2 handles and a square base.

Size: It is about 8-1/2" high and 5" diameter not including the handles.

Condition: It has slight inner rim roughness.
