Country Bears Set of Bookends

Heavy enough for big books!!

This charming set of bookends is of two young country bears sitting inside open trunks with all of their belongings. This set of bookends is can hold up even your taller, heavier books and would be a great addition to your home or office decor. The two padded trunks that make the shape of the bookends both have leather buckled straps and silver hardware (handles on each side, corner protectors, and clasps) and the boy's trunk has a gold padlock.

The bookend on the left has a female bear dressed in a dark mauve jumper outfit adorned with stars, a cream colored sweater with a ruffled collar underneath, and a matching bow in her hair. Inside her trunk, she has two blue antique books, a mauve ruffled pillow decorated with a blue flower and white trim, a mauve ruffled heart-shaped pillow with hearts and circles, a blue and white ball, a Sunday hat with a dark mauve bow, a pink heart, binoculars, and one blue and two white cloths lining the bottom of the trunk.

The bookend on the right has a male bear dressed in blue pajamas, consisting of a button-up shirt over blue pants and a nightcap. In his trunk, he has a pair of black lace-up boots with white fur trim; a red and white ball; a red sleeveless shirt on a hanger; a pink blanket; a mauve antique book; an open book; a brass horn wrapped in a gold rope; a blue ruffled pillow decorated with a pink heart, what appears to be a baseball, and a hearts pattern; and a green shag rug with white trim and stars lining the bottom of the trunk.

This is a used set of bookends that has been well taken care of and in excellent condition with no damage. Each bookend weighs just over two pounds and measures approximately 4.75"H x 4"W x 3.75"D -- together measuring approximately 8"W. The bookends are crafted in quality stone resin, are beautifully colored, and come separately wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a 12"x12"x10" box with peanuts.
