Bristlecone Pine and Lightning in the White Mountains

14" x 18"

 unframed

Original realistic landscape painting of anceint bristlecone pines on the White Mountain Range. Dark stormy sky with lightning flashing. You will have to imagine the thunder - I could not get that in the painting. This featured remnants of a bristlecone may have died when it was hit by lightning as it has been badly burnt, or maybe not.

This painting is accomplished by adding several layers of paint to achieve the natural hue of nature, with much attention to detail.  I hope you enjoy the view of  the high country view.

This art is on a stretched canvas. If you have any questions please email.

A certificate of authenticity will accompany the painting
