This impressive C. Tielsch Altwasser antique coffee bears a mark that places it between 1870 and 1900. There is wear to the gold gilt and if you look at the coffee pot with the spout on the right, the curled over ruffle at the top has been damaged. The top has enough elaborate decoration that the casual looker would probably not notice this. The condition of the remainder of the coffee pot is remarkable with no cracks, chips or scratches. The coffee pot is about 11 inches tall and about 9 inches from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout. It is about 7 inches at its widest. I am selling a matching teapot, pitcher and covered sugar bowl.
