Libretto for Georges Bizet's Carmen, written by Henry Meilhac and Ludovic Halevy. Published by Calman-Levy, Paris, France. Can't find a date on this, but internet search shows that various editions from this publisher date in the first 15 years of the 20th century. (Carmen premiered in 1875.)
This is the 1 franc edition, a lower price than other editions on the internet, suggesting that this is possibly an earlier edition.
Condition is Good Minus. The main condition issue is a deterioration of the glue which has caused the cover to come loose entirely and allowed one split between folios. There is also some fading to the cover and tanning of inner pages not inordinate for the age of the item.
Approx. 90 pp black ink on pulp, with green paper cover. Approx. 4.5" x 7". Comes in archival bag.
