Cartright and Edwards Bone China Polka Dot Cup Saucer

Here is a beautiful vintage Victoria C and E bone china cup and saucer.  This set was made by Cartright and Edwards in England. The set consists of a pink cup and a  pink saucer, both decorated with rows of applied little blue polka dots. The interior of the cup and the underside of the saucer are white. Both pieces are trimmed in gold.

Both pieces are in good condition, with no chips or cracks and good gold trim. The inside well of the cup has some light staining, as shown in one of the pictures above. The saucer has minor use marks on the white center. Cartright and Edwards used the mark shown on this pretty polka dot cup and saucer set from about the 1930s and up. The saucer has a diameter of approx. 5-1/2", and the cup stands approx. 2-7/8" high.
