This Christmas 10 piece service dish set by House of Lloyd Christmas Around The World is done in the Holly Leaf pattern using a pointy green leaf and red berry motif on a white background with gold tone gilt trimming.

All pieces are marked Japan on the underneath.

Beautiful set to use around the holiday season or keep as display.

Measurements:

Luncheon plates: 7 5/8 inches in diameter.
Mugs: 4 3/8 inches in height, 3 inches in diameter at the mouth opening, and from the mouth opening to the handle measures 4 3/8 inches across.
Sugar dish: Without the lid the dish measures 2 7/8 inches in height. With the lid on measures approximately 4 inches in height. The actual mouth opening of the sugar dish measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Measuring with the lip around the mouth opening, there is a measurement of 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
Creamer: 3 inches in height, 3 inches in diameter at the mouth opening, and from the pouring spout to the handle measures 4 inches across.

The gold gilt is used around the very outer trim of the luncheon plates and top outer edge of the sugar dish and creamer. There is one line of gold gilt on the tops of all handles.

I am unsure as to when this pattern was introduced and then later retired. No where to be found on the box is House of Lloyd, but the box does have the Christmas Around the World label on it.

There is no paperwork present.

I see very few light surface scratches on a few of the plates that are tiny and not in abundance by far.

The gold gilt around the mouth openings to a few of the mugs have just a few tiny dull areas.

This set has been well taken care of and has been used only for display.

The underneath bottom bases are clean with hardly any signs of the pieces being moved around.

The patterns are strong without fading.

The original box has a tear on the lip of the box where it opens. There is also some tape on the top of the box and an area where the paper surface to the box has torn away some. The box is also tearing away from its side edge; however, the pieces are still able to be stored in the box securely when not in use.

The camera's flash has bounced off of a few areas to the pieces.

Seller feels that the purchaser will be very pleased with the condition of this service set upon arrival.
