This handsome lamp is handmade from an up-cycled & re-purposed Hoyo de Monterrey - Excalibur Maduro No. I Cigar Box. Set in the front of the box is a quartz clock with a stylish Roman Numeral dial. It also features a black candelabra base lamp socket and nickel plated toggle switch. The box also opens to reveal a storage compartment. This lamp makes a great gift for home or office and will brighten up any desk or bookshelf. It is definitely a conversation starter!

The cord is 8’ rayon covered 18 gauge twisted lamp wire with an antique style polarized plug, for a vintage appearance. All connections inside the lamp are soldiered with shrink wrap. (No wire nuts to come loose) Finishing touches like felt feet and strain relief ensure years of good looks and trouble free service.

Hoyo de Monterrey is one of the most recognized names in cigars. With deep roots in Cuba, this brand has consistently been one of the best cigars to ever come off the island. In 1969, after the trade embargo, production moved to Honduras and was first harvested from a Cuban seed smuggled out of Cuba in a diplomatic pouch.
