See the small card with the code on it? The seller printed that out and included it in the picture to show that they have this item in their possesion.

More about this item

Collectable  Handcrafted African Spiral Walking Stick-                Cane~Tribal Face figure

For your consideration is a fine carved Fine African Cane Africa art Tribal figure head. The all handcrafted wood is 36" long                                                       From my research are all handcrafted canes are from either sese wood (Ghana) or from mvuli wood (Kenya)                                                               The canes from Ghana are typically made from lighter sese wood, and the heavier canes from Kenya are made from mvuli wood.

African Walking canes are an essential part of rural African culture and daily life. When one considers how these communities are located in the African bush amongst many wild and dangerous animals,

the cane is essentially used as a protective weapon. They have also taken on symbols of prestige and tokenism. Many tribal chiefs would use them much like a mace when presiding over important functions.

This has been part of my personal cane collection.

I am now downsizing my collection of World-wide Art and Collectables
