This holly berry designed bell is stamped Countess Fine Bone China Made in England. There's gold along the bottom rim and around the top rim of the bell. There's a small hole in the handle so you can add a ribbon to hang it as an ornament. This bell does have a crack on one side that is visible on one side as well as inside the bell. The handle has been repaired with a very bad glue job. This piece would look cute as a tree ornament, but I wouldn't put it in a collection. It's in rough shape, but it's still cute. It measures about 4-1/2 inches tall and 2-3/4 across the bottom. It doesn't seem to "ding" well, but from what I've seen in researching this piece, the bell part is made correctly. Perhaps it's not meant to "ding" and is just for looks?
