This lace trimmed corset is Crossbones detail. It is constructed from 7 panels of thick ivory dupioni silk and is reinforced with an additional layer of canvas for even more cinching power. It is lined in a comfortable, decorative toile canvas. The edges and seams are encased in bias tape & lace. This sturdy, under-bust style is more of a decorative corset (not for severe waist reduction/training), but it will still pull in your waist a couple inches and give your mid-section a waspy, hour glass appearance.

There is steel boning throughout (1/2" flat steel along the back & front & 1/4" steel along the side seams). It laces up through double sided, black grommets and has a cameo image of a vintage lithograph of a human skeleton torso on the front, sounded by more lace and hand pleated ribbon.

When choosing a size it's best to go 2-4" smaller than your natural waist. 1-2" smaller will allow you to almost fully close the corset and 3-4" will leave a small gap in the back to show off the lacing. Please take into consideration that bulky clothing will add 1/2"-1" to your measurements.
