 1950 Crown TRIFARI Vintage Fur Clip

Designed in 1950 by Alfred Philippe ( patent number 156763 ), this  beautiful heart shaped leaf dress / fur clip has a rhodium plating.  Six clear marquis cut rhinestones are supported on a stem of baguettes and topped with a 12 mm center rhinestone.  The surrounding leaves are rows of pave’d clear rhinestones with an outer row of clear baguettes.  The clip measures 2 ½” long by 1 ¾” wide and is signed Pat Pend on the body of the clip and Trifari on the clip mechanism.  It is in very good condition with the only flaw being some yellowing to the clear chatons.  The rhodium plating is in excellent condition.  We have run out of our jewelry joose but with a bit of that and a toothbrush, this vintage clip would sparkle beautifully again.
