This adorable Yellow Fish Wall Tile or Trivet, with the brilliant red lips will charm any fish lover. The fish is a bright yellow and orange with a turquoise blue background. The fish has beautiful blue eyes with long eyelashes. There are raised dots on the fin and the eyelids. It is signed by Diane and on the side edge of the tile is copyright 2001.

The high-fired, glazed tile measures 6 inches by 6 inches square. It has a faux wood backing and is ready to be hung as wall decor or used as a trivet. This tile was made by Diane Artware, Fine and Decorative Arts. It is from her Character Collectibles and is titled "Yellow Fish". She creates light hearted and humorous unique, hand-painted and hand-crafted art objects. She is based in the Virgin Islands and her work is some of the most highly collected Caribbean art today.

The tile is new, in excellent condition and has never been used. It has been taken in and out of the box and the Styrofoam packing shows that, as does the box (the box is mislabeled with the Palm Tree sticker). The back labels are intact and it has Ontario, Canada as the distribution on the label. There is a label that was removed (I'm sure it was the price tag), but obviously the back will not show if it is on the wall or being used as a trivet.

What a great addition to any Tropical or Nautical Decor, a great find for a fish lover or a Pisces. This piece is no longer being made and has been retired.
