 Aimee and I search the Del Norte County beaches in Northern California, determined to find exceptional driftwood for our buyers. Only the best pieces make it into our stash! Our wood comes from a variety of trees. For example: Redwood, Fir, Cypress and Alder.

 We have dicovered that driftwood pieces can easily be categorized into types by the look and texture of the pieces. These are our categories, which correspond to our driftwood photographs:

 As much as possible, we want to individualize the driftwood we mail to you. Tell us YOUR TOP TWO CHOICES OF DRIFTWOOD CATEGORIES. The box of driftwood that you purchase will include several pieces of your top two selections.

 In our medium sized flat rate box, we place at least TEN pieces of driftwood. The ten pieces are a combination of 5 small and 5 medium sized driftwood pieces. Generally speaking, our small driftwood pieces are approximately 3-4 inches long; our medium pieces are approximately 6-8 inches long.

When you make your purchase, send us an email. In the message, tell us your two favorite types of wood from our list. It is easy! We will include several pieces of your favorite wood in the box we mail to you. Remember, these are the categories from which to select. They correspond to numbers in our photos:

IMPORTANT: The photographs with our listing DO NOT represent the actual driftwood pieces you will receive. Colors may vary slightly as a result of the lighting during the photography process and computer monitor differences. 

Use in an aquarium or terrarium must be the responsibility of the buyer. Although not treated with any chemicals, it was found on a Pacific Ocean beach and may not be suitable for all uses.

 Instead, the photos are representations of the categories of wood we will mail to the buyer.
