this antique silver plated flute is marked as such on each segment. It was made during the mid 1940s by the E L DeFord Co. in Elkhart Indiana, also marked on instrument. It is in excellent condition with minimal to no wearing. made for an intermediate flutist, it has french open keys with pads all intact. It also comes in a purple velvet lined hardcase that fits into a leather light case; both in excellent condition. It weighs 15 ounces and is 26 inches long.
