Elgin has always been a very well known watch. Known for its longevity and lasting value. This particular watch was my uncle's. It was worn approximately six times. The band and the crystals are in mint condtion. On the sides near the stem there are a few very light scratches. The caseback, that is worn towards the arm is slighly scratched. These scratches cannot be seen. The watchband has been adjusted to an average mans wrist, which is approximately a size 8 (in a regular mans bracelet) If you should need other links, call your local jeweler or watchmaker and see if they can get extra links for this model. However, in order for you to need more links the person you are purchasing this for would need to have a larger wrist. So before you purchase this watch make sure you can get the links, if needed. This watch is in excellent condition, (except for what I have described) perfect running order and is a genuine Elgin watch.

There is no box or instructions. I do not want to open the watch case, however if you want to open it and check the serial numbers inside please do. I have been in the jewelry industry for over 16 years, I know it is a genuine Elgin watch versus a counterfeit, if however, you purchase the watch and find that this is not the case. I will refund all of your money including the shipping. I would need a certified watchmaker to put into writing that this is not genuine because...They would need to give me an exact reason that only jewelers pretty much know of why it is not a real Elgin. Sorry that I had to list all of this "junk" about returning but, because people get concerned about purchasing on the internet, which I certainly understand, I think it was necessary for the both of us. This would make an absolutely great gift for any person.
