This unique interface allows you to control an iPod directly from the factory radio buttons and steering wheel controls.
The iPod Adapter interface delivers CD quality sound directly into the factory sound system via the CD changer port and eliminates the use of noisy RF modulators.
The factory radio enables track selection and FFWD / RRWD just like using a CD changer.
The PXDP also keeps the batteries in your iPod charged and ready for on the go use.
iPod2Car installs easily and the modual box is hidden behind the radio or dashboard.
Then run the black iPod dock connector cable, which is approximately 11 feet long, through to where you want to connect the iPod.
The Peripheral PXDP iPod Module is combined with a vehicle specific Wiring Harness to connect the iPod Interface Modual to your Radio's CD Changer Port.

Important Note:
This item connects to the CD Changer Port on the back of the vehicle's radio, or in some vehicles, the trunk.
(You do not need a CD Changer)
You will no longer be able to use a CD Changer (if you have one) with this item connected. You will still be able to use your single CD player.
If your vehicle has a built-in CD Changer, your radio will not have a CD Changer Port and therefor this kit is not compatible with your vehicle.

1. Will I still be able to control my iPod using the iPod buttons?
Yes, you will be able to fully control your iPod using the iPod buttons.
2. I have an internal CD player, will it stop working if I install the ipod2car adapter?
Your internal CD player will keep working with the ipod2car adapter. You will only loose an external CD Changer** if you have one installed. Just press the CD button To change modes between your CD player and ipod2car adapter
3. Can I see the Song name/ Artist name or any other Text on my radio?
No, most factory radios support only numbers under the CD Changer mode (i.e. Disc 1 track 4)
4. I have steering wheel radio controls in my car. Will they work with the ipod2car?
Yes, you will be able to change tracks, Previous and Next.
5. Will I still be able to control my iPod using the iPod buttons?
Yes, you will be able to fully control your iPod using the iPod buttons.
6. Will my iPod screen display change while connected, or will it display all the Song info and iPod menus?
Your iPod screen will be the same as if it were not connected, meaning, you will be able to see all the Song/Artist info, and browse, just as if it weren't connected.
