Set of authentic confiscated prison knives, shanks, and shivs dating from the late 1930’s to the 1960’s.  Properly mounted in a shadow box for display.  All of these knives are from the family of a former prison guard who worked in a New York State Prison.  All are constructed from found parts in the prison and have great patina.

Shadow box measures 12" x 15" x 2." - 8 knives/shivs/shanks in total. One of the best conversational pieces of folk art I have ever owned!
