With its green case shaped like a frog with googly eyes, this is a charming gift for the very young or those who appreciate whimsy.

The Frog Crossing video game has an LCD display that is bordered in orange and topped by two black button eyes. The game play buttons are large and easy for young hands to manipulate.

The goal of Frog Crossing is to get your frog across the busy highway without getting hit by cars, then across the river (via floating ice blocks) to the opposite side, where he is crowned Frog King.

Sound effects include PacMan-like music and a frog “croak” for each push of the left/right or up/down buttons. The sound can be turned off.

A unique and charming handheld game design.

Frog Crossing comes with the Radio Shack Owner’s Manual.
