A Standard Dictionary of the English Language Upon Original Plans. Funk & Wagnalls Company, New York and London 1898. This dictionary is very rare and very old. The binding is broken and falling apart. The cover is very dark and has alot of wear on the front, not so much on the back. Some of the pages are disconnected from the binding but as far as I can tell all pages are here. The pages are in great shape with the exception of a couple pages that have some folds. The text and pictures inside the dictionary are bright and easy to read. The only problem with this dictionary would be the binding! If you can restore the binding of this book, you would have a great antique dictionary. The dictionary contains 2320 pages or English words some that havn't been heard or used in decades.

A great collectors piece that with the right care and restoration, would be worth a great deal in the future.
