  • Nice solid, clean, odor-free book. No marks. MAROON cloth WITH LEATHER ( I think) CORNER TIPS AND STRIP ALONG THE SPINE.

  • Lacking leather spine strip. SPINE STRIP IS MISSING which has compromised the covers and hinges. SEE PHOTO. Actually, this would be a good project for a bookbinder.

  • Good with no dust jacket; binding tight but front hinge is separating but all pages intact. Cloth. Clean tight contents. Pages well-bound, clean and supple. Wear to spine edges and corners. Book is clean and binding is sound. Solid binding. Exterior edgewear/bumping.Volume is tight.

    • The book's condition, in my opinion, is good, with mostly sound covers and tight binding. The text is reasonably clean.

        Why a lexicon? "In the beginning was the WORD." Word usage is enormously helpful to Biblical understanding. H.W.F. Gesenius (mid 1800's) is acclaimed as the Noah Webster of Old Testament Hebrew lexicons (dictionary). He brings to the Old Testament a wonderful blend of Christian/Jewish background and insight. Be sure to note not only the word you are looking up, but also the words that surround it, for they too often lend very interesting and even uncanny insight (divine providence).
