GRISLY Germany Golden Mohair Jointed TEDDY BEAR - chest ID button - 17 inches tall (43 cm) & 12 inches tall sitting (30 cm) - pre 1964!
This adorable teddy bear is made by Grisly, a lesser known German toy maker. He has his chest button in black and gold and it says "Grisly" with the bear and needle logo. This button dates him pre-1964! He is made from soft fluffy golden mohair, has amber brown GLASS eyes, a small black stitched nose, and is fully jointed. His paw pads are peach felt with no holes & no wear! His head is firmly stuffed & could be excelsior, while his body is softer stuffed & likely kapok. He is adorable, and in very good to excellent clean condition! There are no holes, no stains and no wear on his mohair!
He would be a great addition to your Grisly or German mohair collection or would make a wonderful gift for a collector.
