hand painted by skilled artists,
cobalt blue and gold on white
It comes from my personal collection - I just want to size down.

(also Meißen porcelain) is the first European porcelain.
It was invented in 1708 by Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus.
However, after his early death Johann Friedrich Boettger
who continued his work
has often been credited with the invention.
The crossed swords of Meissen German porcelain,
derived from Augustus' coat of arms,
is known the world over as a mark of the finest quality and a great art.
It breaks my heart to offer it for sale but I'm hoping for an
appreciative home for it. We can't keep everything in life... right?
