The Guild^® GAD-40CE dreadnought was designed utilizing a body shape that has been in use for over 70 years and continues to be incredibly popular. To accommodate modern playing styles, Guild added a Venetian cutaway. The GAD-40CE's body was crafted using solid mahogany for the back and sides and a solid spruce top with scalloped bracing. A time-tested dovetail neck joint was used to join the one-piece mahogany neck with the body. Other appointments on the GAD-40CE include Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge, ebony for the pearl dot inlayed bridge and strap pins, and Fishman Matrix electronics. This is a B-Stock/Factory Refurbished Guitar and is stamped used back of the headstock. All of my guitars are clean stock meaning no structural problems and have gone though a rigid inspection and setup at the factory authorized service center.
